We are a group of friends who like spandex and cycling in beautiful
Harford County, Maryland. Some of us never miss a beat. Some of us
wait for sunshine. All of us will talk about a hill like it was a
character in a movie. Pull on the kit, clip in, and roll — from Bel
Air to Havre de Grace and every farm road in between.
Maryland colors, Harford miles.

Cartoon souls, real watts. Each Boyz has a nickname, a made-up racing
myth, and a Strava badge if you dare compare notes.
Fire Starter
Never misses a beat
Fire Starter treats the group chat like a start gun. If there is a
ride on the calendar, he is already pumping tires in the garage.
He lights the first pull, keeps cadence when the pack goes quiet,
and somehow still has a match for the last kicker into Bel Air.
Weather apps fear him. Rest weeks confuse him. If the Boyz ever
need a spark, he is already clipped in and grinning.
Isotope is half science experiment, half after-school legend.
Nobody can forecast his line choice, his snack choice, or whether
he will sprint for a county-line sign that exists only in his
head. Especially after detention periods, his watts go half-life
chaotic and the peloton gives him extra room. He is the reason we
check our computers twice. Ride with him and you will get a story,
a scare, and probably a new PR you did not ask for.
Full Torque never needs a second invitation, and he never arrives
without a groaner. He will give you a wheel, a gel, and a pun
about derailleurs that should be illegal in three counties. His
namesake sits on the jersey pocket for a reason: he wrenches, he
waits, and he winds it up when the group needs a diesel motor.
Ask him how the ride was and you will get a punchline first, then
the truth. He is always willing. Your ears are the only part that
might need recovery.
Code Blue is the calm in a kit of chaos. When Isotope aims at a
pothole like it owes him money, Code Blue calls the hole, the
car, and the cadence. He brings sanity, snacks with actual
electrolytes, and a voice that can settle a six-rider argument
about who closed the gap. He will still bury himself for a town
sign, but only after the pack is together. If the Boyz are a
heart, he is the monitor that keeps the beeping reasonable.
Part Time is a fair weather biker and proud of the fine print.
Sunshine? He is in full kit by the driveway. Radar green? He is
suddenly very busy organizing sock drawers. When he does show,
the miles are smooth, the tan lines are crisp, and the excuses
are award-winning. We love him anyway. A dry-road specialist is
still a specialist, and Harford has enough blue-sky Sundays to
keep him in the yearbook.
Club miles, mapped like a Strava feed: route, date, name, and
distance. Swap in live Strava data later — for now the log lives in
data/rides.json so you can add a ride anytime.
